Located in Madison, Wisconsin, Madison Media Institute is a small but reputable career-focused college focusing exclusively on media arts studies. The school currently offers associate’s degree programs in six fields of study: Graphic Design & Digital Media, Recording and Music Production, Video Production & Film Editing, Music Management & Entertainment Business, Video Game Design & Animation, and Audio Visual Systems Technology. The Recording and Game Design programs are also offered at a satellite campus in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The school blends a career focus with a standard college format; all associate’s degree programs require two years to complete, with the exception of the Game Design program, which takes five semesters.
