Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Boone, North Carolina, Appalachian State University is a public institution with an enrollment of over 17,000 students. The school offers a comprehensive array of majors, over 140 in all, with undergraduate and graduate programs that include Accounting, Education, Political Science and others.
